You know how they say time flies when you're having fun? Well, let's just say time has entered warp speed! Lots of great things happening and one happy happy happy child!
9 Months Old - Shrinking Elephant and one mobile Hailey! Won't sit still!
9 Months - they don't make shutter speeds fast enough for this kid!
10 Months Old! - And mom has lost the sticker battle for these shots!
Our 10 Month Beauty!
For some reason, the jump from 9 to 10 months feels huge to me. It's like all of a sudden she's no longer 3/4 of a year old and we might as well round up to a year and I am SO not ready to have a ONE year old!!! Yipes!
And now for a little recap of what we've been up to for the past couple months...
One especially fair-weathered afternoon we headed to the coast for some seafood!
Ready with our Bibs!
Beautiful Day!
Fam-Selfie
Another day we headed downtown with some friends for a 30th Birthday celebration for Jameson at Milagros. Hailey was soaking up all the attention from everyone
Think our child gets enough love? Umm yeah.

Hailey & Daddy
Speaking of 30th Birthdays.... Daddy turned THIRTY!!! We celebrated by trying out a new local BBQ joint with friends and it was a blast! Unfortunately I did a terrible job getting pictures, but I did shoot this one little gem....
Nothing says welcome to 30 like a good old fashioned NOSE PICKIN!
What a little stinker, that Hailey May ;-)
Our little princess discovered the swing for the first time too! She basically loved it.
Hailey's also getting really good at my least favorite chore.... folding laundry. OK, maybe good isn't the right word, but she does pull everything out of the basket and look really cute doing it!
Mama's little helper?
Joe's VERY first Father's Day happened!!! Early that morning, Hailey was itching to give him his present, so she did...
Templeton Rye for Daddy
I have no idea what liquor store sold whiskey to a 10 month old, but that's just insane ;-) After presents and a lazy morning, Daddy wanted to go on a family hike. It was a pretty wonderful day for a pretty wonderful dad.
Father's Day Hike
Oh and have I mentioned we have a CRAWLER in the house? That happened. Commence immediate baby proofing.
Summer is just about here and it's the perfect time to start introducing Hailey to the pool! Whitney is a swim instructor and very graciously offered to get Hailey started... We all had a blast!!!
Two very important moments occurred on the same day this year... I spent my first Mother's Day as a mom and we celebrated Hailey's Infant Dedication at church! For those not in the know, an Infant Dedication is kind of like a Baptism, except it's more of a welcoming into the church, and it's our promise as Hailey's parents to raise her in a Christian home so that if she chooses to be baptized later in life, she can. I personally loved this option, as I wasn't baptized a baby, but later chose to get baptized in high school, when I started learning more about what it meant and who I was as a Christian.
Another fantastic part of this already-spectacular day was getting to spend it with both of our families, together! This hasn't happened since our wedding, so it was especially meaningful to us. Hailey has quite the supportive family :-)

You could say Hailey's sorta doted on ;-)

He wanted to hold her, but I'm not sure he knew what he was getting himself into...
This is about as "still" as Hailey would get
Crawling race with Auntie Carolyn!

I think this year set the Mother's Day bar a tad too high... Next year better involve winning the lottery or the ability to turn water into wine in order to beat this one.
