College Bound at Six Months Old

They say you've got to start planning early for your child's college, I really hope six months makes the cut. OK not exactly, but one Sunday we had nothing planned and decided to take the opportunity to drive over to Berkeley and visit Joe's old grad school stomping grounds at Cal, though in true Givens form we mostly just wanted to go eat some of the delicious local food.

Believe it or not, I'd never seen the Berkeley campus so Joe was excited to show me (and Hailey) around.

What's a campus tour without campus swag?

It was an awesome tour by an even awesomer tour guide. But fear not Bruins, I'm still making Hailey check the UCLA box when she fills out her UC application in 17 years ;-)

All that walking really works up an appetite! Nothing like a little Top Dog to fix that!

Hailey slept right through it. I would too if I couldn't eat meat yet.

Not QUITE Westwood, but all in all it was a pretty fantastic family day in Berkeley!
